About The Position
This is a temp-to-full-time position where the primary responsibilities include visually inspecting airplane engine components and using hand grinders, belt grinders, and bench grinders to buff any imperfections. The role also involves operating finishing machines and using inspection tools like ring lights.
Requirements
- Resume with at least 1-year consecutive manufacturing experience
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to work overtime as the company may need
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be willing to submit to a national background check
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect airplane engine components
- Buff imperfections with hand grinders, belt grinders, and bench grinders
- Operate hand, belt, and bench grinders
- Perform machining, deburring, blending, grinding, and polishing of complex castings and assemblies
- Read work instructions accurately
- Maintain a high attention to detail
- Record daily productivity
- Communicate any concerns to supervisor
- Operate finishing machines
- Use of ring lights and other inspection tools
