About The Position

The Grinder Operator will be responsible for grinding flame cut parts and parts returned for refurbishment. This role may also assist in unloading the flame cut table and provides general utility support across the department, including moving material between departments and supporting the fabrication department. The operator will also be responsible for removing debris, scrap, and trash, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and complying with all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrating Caldwell values in all work activities is expected.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year forklift experience
• One year overhead crane experience
• One year experience operating a hand grinder in an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to read a tape measure.
• Proven ability to read blue prints.
• Ability to use a computer to clock in and out of jobs.
