About The Position
Precision Processes/Hiler Industries in Walkerton is HIRING! We’re looking for positive, hard-working team players to join our amazing team. We seek hardworking and reliable team members to grind, inspect, and finish metal castings in our Walkerton finishing facility.
Requirements
- Safety lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Solid track record of focused and productive work
- Share our Company values – practicing the Golden Rule, taking ownership of work, and driving and embracing innovation.
Nice To Haves
- No specific grinding experience is required
- Experience in manufacturing is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Grinding & Finishing
- Operating Production Equipment: Including Cobots and auto-grinders
- Maintaining Pace: Knowing your targets and consistently working to achieve them
- Team Work: Knowing when to ask for help, and when to provide support. Generally, being present and showing up well for teammates
- Operates under clear deadlines and results-oriented metrics
- Has clear tasks and are organized and optimized for productivity
- Includes repetitive actions that maximize consistent, high quality results
