About The Position
Proficiently set up and operate all assigned grinding machines. Execute tasks based on set up cards or operation sheets, ensuring adherence to specification. Select suitable wheels, methods, and tooling based on job requirements and material specifications. Exercise judgement in choosing the appropriate tooling to meet varying conditions. Dress and change wheels as needed to maintain optimal machine performance and achieve desired finishes. Appy judgement in laying out work, setting up machines, and checking the quality of finished products. Conduct inspections to ensure work meets specified conditions and quality standards. Perform routine teardown of machines, including thorough cleanup and maintenance tasks. Adhere to established maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Score of 50 or better on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test or equivalent.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation or similar experience preferred.
