About The Position

We have an exciting opening for a Grinder located at our Augusta, AR location. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you: What you’ll do: Place finished work in the designated parts container and dispose of scrap materials in the specified scrap container. Inspect parts for defects Measure parts to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments. Read job standard operating procedures to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences. Observe machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary. Load completed work and scrap materials into containers as specified. Check for proper adjustments of grinding guard and tool rests Grind or punch castings per the designated Grinding Process Sheet. Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ Years Relevant Experience
Actively identifies problems and opportunities for change and implements solutions where appropriate.

Responsibilities
