About The Position

Temp To Perm LK Jordan is seeking a Grinder/Laborer for a manufacturing company in the Houston area. This is a great opportunity for someone with metal fabrication or manufacturing experience who is comfortable using hand grinders and power tools in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements

• Previous grinding experience is required.
• Experience using hand grinders, sanders, or other metal finishing tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and smooth metal parts using hand grinders and other power tools.
• Remove sharp edges, excess material, and surface imperfections.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist with material handling and general shop labor as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
