About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Grinder Operator with strong mechanical aptitude to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating grinding equipment, performing quality checks, making machine adjustments to maintain specifications, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Requirements
- Mechanical background or strong mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read and use measuring tools such as a micrometer
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Read and use a micrometer for precise measurements
- Make minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and tolerances
- Clean and maintain grinding equipment as needed
- Monitor production and report mechanical or quality concerns
- Follow safety and production procedures
