About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing plastic scrap materials, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring strict material separation to support our quality standards. Requirements

Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to accurately record and enter production data.
Ability to recognize and differentiate plastic materials and colors.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Operate shredding and grinding equipment while maintaining targeted production rates.
Sort and process plastic scrap materials, ensuring different materials and colors remain separated to prevent contamination.
Weigh regrind containers accurately, including tare weights.
Maintain accurate production and regrind logs.
Enter production data into the MES system, including weights, job tracking information, and regrind tag numbers.
Perform thorough equipment cleanouts with a high level of accuracy between material and color changes.
Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and finished products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Identify and distinguish between various plastic materials and colors.
Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
