About The Position

Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Grind Room Associate to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling the foundry’s sand supply and preparing sand molds for pouring. The position offers a competitive wage of $20/hr - $22/hr, influenced by experience. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics. Requirements

Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrates adaptability and a keen attention to detail.
U.S. citizenship or documented residency
Be 18+ years old
Frequently lifts 30 - 100 lb loads.
Follows procedure and reports issues as they occur.
Remains cautious and alert at all times.
Keeps area & machines clean, and good working order.
Shows up consistently, on time, and maintains performance standards.

Responsibilities

Transport, prepare, and control molding sand for further processing using a bucket loader, muller, and conveyor system.
Carefully prepare assembled sand molds using weights and jackets. Employ conveyor system and forklift to transport them for pouring.
Remove, screen, and reclaim sand from poured molds using hand tools and bucket loader.
Palletize and transport castings using forklift for further processing stations on site.
