About The Position

Casino Fandango is seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Governors Grill. This leadership role is responsible for creating an outstanding dining experience by coaching and developing team members, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
  • Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated success leading teams.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, elevated noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • Nevada Food Handler Certification
  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification (AAT)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scheduling, coaching, performance management, and daily restaurant operations preferred.
  • Casino or hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Governors Grill to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop restaurant team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
  • Schedule team members appropriately while monitoring staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Ensure all guests receive fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while recognizing opportunities to exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor, interacting with guests and supporting the team during service.
  • Ensure proper table rotation and efficient seating to maximize service flow.
  • Partner closely with the kitchen to ensure accurate communication, food quality, and timely service.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation to maintain company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, food handling, gaming, and company policies.
  • Assist with cash handling procedures and guest payment transactions when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete administrative duties, and communicate effectively with department leadership.
  • Build a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional hospitality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
