About The Position

Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) is seeking a Greeter/ Claire Tow Theater Usher to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring every guest feels welcome and receives excellent customer service across all three LCT theaters. The Greeter's primary goal is to create a positive and memorable experience for attendees, and they may also be called upon to assist during special events throughout the year. This is a part-time, non-union position with a minimum shift length of 3 hours and an expectation of working at least 4 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests coming to the Vivian Beaumont and Mitzi E. Newhouse Theaters.
• Provide directions and answer any questions guests may have regarding the theater or show.
• Assist with managing lines for bathrooms during intermission and potentially before the show.
• Take tickets, distribute playbills, and seat guests for shows in the Claire Tow Theater.
• Ensure adherence to performance house rules, including entry, exit, late seating, and photography policies.
• Maintain access control to performance areas.
