About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Greek teacher for one-to-one general Greek classes in Havertown. The student is a beginner and wishes to have classes at her home. The course will be 24 hours long, with classes of two hours held once a week. Preferred days are Monday mornings or Wednesday around noon. The student wishes to start as soon as possible. Special requirements include focusing on listening and speaking skills. The location and schedule can be flexible based on mutual availability. This is a freelance, part-time position.

Requirements

• Native Greek speaker OR hold a teaching degree.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Possess a valid working visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Havertown, 19083.
• Ability to teach beginner level Greek.
• Availability for classes on Monday mornings or Wednesday around noon.
• Ability to start as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching general Greek.
• Understanding of student's motivation (family ties to Greece, yearly visits).

Responsibilities
