GRC Administrator and Developer

About The Position

We are seeking a skilled GRC Administrator and Developer to join a collaborative team of information technology professionals. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a web-based Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, with responsibilities spanning administration, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of new functionality. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with security, audit, and technology teams to deliver automation solutions that streamline compliance processes and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

Python programming experience (2–3+ years)
Experience developing automation scripts and RESTful API integrations (1–2+ years)
General knowledge of database design
Basic programming skills in Java or C#
Familiarity with DevOps practices and Risk Management concepts
Experience with Agile methodology (e.g., sprints)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated testing
Familiarity with GRC tools or platforms
Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
Experience with security frameworks such as CJIS, IRS 1075, PCI, or similar standards

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrator and developer for an enterprise GRC tool.
Lead automation initiatives for security accreditation processes, including evidence collection, workflow routing, and control reviews.
Design unified security controls frameworks aligned with applicable standards.
Develop and maintain Python API modules and automation scripts to support continuous monitoring.
Integrate structured data sources into the GRC platform.
Maintain centralized source control and documentation repositories.
