About The Position

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced SharePoint Power Platform Developer and Administrator to support the Air Force National Capital Region Information Technology Services (AFNCR ITS) program. This role involves providing administration, development, troubleshooting, and operational support for Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO), Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, and Power Platform solutions within enterprise government environments. The position operates in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting supporting key Air Force and Department of Defense organizations, ensuring systems reliability and continuous operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years of specialized experience in applications programming and database management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business/finance, or related field (or equivalent experience substitutions).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform tools.
  • Proficiency in modern web development languages and frameworks (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, etc.).
  • Experience with Active Directory, permissions management, and enterprise-level system administration.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Full-time onsite availability at Joint Base Andrews with occasional telework.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, administration, and troubleshooting for SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
  • Develop and maintain custom SharePoint and Power Platform solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, React JS, and VS Code.
  • Design, develop, and manage Power Platform tools including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboards/reporting solutions.
  • Resolve Tier 1–3 incidents, service requests, and operational issues in accordance with SLA and ITIL processes.
  • Administer SharePoint site collections including site creation, configuration, permissions, governance, content management, and decommissioning.
  • Manage permissions, Active Directory-integrated access controls, and user/group memberships across multiple environments.
  • Design and enhance SharePoint pages, layouts, branding, and user interfaces.
  • Monitor SharePoint environment health, performance, usage, and availability to ensure operational stability.
  • Analyze business applications and technical requirements to design and implement effective software solutions.
  • Test, debug, refine, and document software solutions, improving efficiency and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to help meet development timelines.
