About The Position

Guardian Security, a locally owned and operated company serving Washington State for 50 years, is seeking a Full-Time Alarm Dispatcher for the graveyard shift at its Central Station in Yakima. The role involves processing over-the-phone requests, dispatching for various alarm events, and accurately evaluating alarm signals. The station operates 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring on-site attendance.

Requirements

• Intermediate or higher technical skills when using computers
• Very detail-oriented, meticulous work ethic with desire to produce quality work output.
• Ability to work independently and problem solve.
• Must be comfortable communicating with any individuals, using any method of communication.
• Availability for one weekend day is required.

Responsibilities

• Processing over-the-phone requests
• Dispatching on Fire, Security, Medical, and Life/Safety alarm events
• Comprehend and evaluate alarm signal events quickly and accurately
• Review account signal traffic history accurately and quickly
• Relay account/signal information in a complete and informationally dense manner
