About The Position
La-kwa sa muqw Forestry (LKSM) is seeking a fully qualified Grapple Yarder Utility Person to join their team in Menzies Bay, BC. This position offers the chance to contribute to a progressive organization committed to responsible forest management, with strong values in safety and sustainability. The role is considered safety sensitive, and all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in BC Coastal Logging.
- Excellent safety record and strong work ethic.
- Highly motivated team player with excellent time management skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Logical problem solving.
- Accountable and dependable.
- Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Preference may be given to applicants holding a valid Intermediate First Aid certificate.
- Successful applicants who do not currently hold at least an Intermediate First Aid certification must be willing to obtain it.
