This role requires extensive software development experience, with a strong focus on GraphQL API development, distributed systems, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and blockchain technologies, particularly within the banking and finance sector.

Requirements

  • Mandatory 10+ years of software development experience with Java.
  • Strong experience building GraphQL APIs (Apollo, graphql-java, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience working with Blockchain technologies (public or private).
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Banking/Finance Experience is required.
  • Experience with AI concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, or Quarkus.
  • Familiarity with Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or other blockchain frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Web3 concepts, wallets, and cryptography basics.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
  • Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, and system resiliency.

Responsibilities

  • Build GraphQL APIs using technologies like Apollo or graphql-java.
  • Design and implement solutions leveraging distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for development and deployment.
  • Work with blockchain technologies (public or private) in the context of banking and finance.
  • Develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Apply AI concepts in conjunction with blockchain technologies.
  • Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and system resiliency in developed systems.
