About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be a key technical contributor within our Electrophysiology Division, developing system and embedded software for advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiology devices. This role involves ownership across the full software development lifecycle and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, innovative medical device solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (Preferred) in discipline such as Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of software development experience or equivalent (e.g., 4+ years of Ph.D. research experience in Computer Science).
  • Advanced Object-Oriented Design
  • C++ and Qt Programming Experiences.
  • Experience developing applications on Linux operating systems.
  • Expertise in GPU‑accelerated programming, including OpenGL, GLSL shaders, CUDA, or general stream programming concepts.
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU programming.
  • Solid understanding of 2D/3D OpenGL texture mapping techniques.
  • Strong background in computational geometry algorithms.

Responsibilities

  • Apply strong software design and engineering skills to develop embedded and system‑level software for medical devices that meet defined performance, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Design, implement, and test software components including: embedded and application‑level software; linux‑based applications and graphical user interfaces; and real‑time algorithms such as 3D location tracking, 3D anatomical model creation, and intracardiac signal visualization.
  • Translate system and user requirements into effective software architectures and detailed designs.
  • Contribute meaningfully across project phases, including requirements definition, implementation, code reviews, verification, and final release in alignment with medical device development processes.
  • Develop and execute software and test plans, protocols, and reports to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality system requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Hardware Engineering, and Test Engineering through design and technical reviews.
  • Make and justify critical technical decisions based on sound engineering judgment, investigation, and validation.
  • Document software solutions thoroughly and support knowledge transfer to manufacturing teams for successful scale‑up and production.
