OpenGL Developer
About The Position
SAIC is seeking an Open GL Developer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. The Network, System Integration and Test Environment (NSITE) is a government-owned, managed, and developed software suite used by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Joint Services, and numerous labs to support the testing of systems employed for defense of the United States and its Allies. NSITE provides data collection, situational awareness, and analysis capabilities to a wide range of users, acting as an independent third-party truth teller. The NSITE team possesses in-depth experience in Tactical Data Links (TDL), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Test, Enterprise Information Technology, Software and Systems Engineering, and Information Assurance.

Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the NSITE software application suite.
- Working on an agile development team, understanding and communicating the path forward, and completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Communicating with leadership and the customer to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
- Documenting work for teammates, users, leadership, and posterity.
- Identifying and solving challenging problems by writing performant, clean, and practical code.
- Developing and maintaining rendering pipelines using OpenGL.
- Optimizing rendering performance for NSITE, a desktop application.
