About The Position

The Graphics Artist assists with the design, creation, and editing of still and motion graphics, delivering broadcast graphic elements and motion graphic packages. The role conceptualizes and executes original motion title designs, researches and requests photos from photo editors, and creates photorealistic Photoshop composites from stock imagery. It also performs visual-effects work, including tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing. The position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite and may involve extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fine Art or a related field.
At least two years of professional experience in film, television, or advertising working in motion graphics or an adjacent field.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of various audio, video, and image file formats, and ability to convert or compress files to required specifications.

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Cinema 4D.
Ability to work under intense deadlines and quickly edit or adjust day-of segments for broadcast.
Familiarity with Slack and Dropbox.
