About The Position

The Graphics Artist assists with the design, creation, and editing of still and motion graphics, delivering graphic elements and motion graphic packages for broadcast. The role conceptualizes and executes original motion title designs, researches and requests photos from photo editors, creates photorealistic Photoshop composites from existing stock imagery, and performs visual effects work such as tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing. The position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite and may require extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Fine Art or a related field.
At least two years of professional experience in film, television, or advertising, working in motion graphics or an adjacent field.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of audio, video, and image file formats and the ability to convert or compress files to required specifications.

Be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Be able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

Excellent communication skills.
Self-directed with excellent organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Cinema 4D.
Ability to work under intense deadlines and quickly edit or adjust day-of segments for broadcast.
Familiarity with Slack and Dropbox.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, creation, and editing of still and motion graphics.
