About The Position
Are you a graphic design student looking for real-world experience? Lamar's Graphics division has a perfect opportunity for you! Our Graphics office in Pensacola, Florida is now hiring a Graphics Artist Intern to assist in the creation of outdoor designs for outdoor and digital products. Please provide samples of your work or a link to your website in order to be considered for an interview.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Aptitude for graphic design
- Computer literacy
- Proficient in Lamar Graphics' currently used graphic software (Adobe Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong vision, including the ability to design visually, with the proficiency to distinguish color patterns and identify good use of color
Nice To Haves
- 1 year in college (currently enrolled) for graphic design or the equivalent professional experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Design outdoor creative for one or more product lines: Outdoor, Digital displays, or Transit
- Responsible for the completion of jobs on the daily schedule
