About The Position
Lamar's Graphics division is seeking a Graphics Artist Intern to assist in the creation of outdoor designs for outdoor and digital products. This internship offers real-world experience for graphic design students. Applicants are required to provide samples of their work or a link to their website to be considered for an interview.
Requirements
- Aptitude for graphic design
- Computer literacy
- Proficient in Lamar Graphics' currently used graphic software (Adobe Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong vision, including the ability to design visually, with the proficiency to distinguish color patterns and identify good use of color
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year in college (currently enrolled) for graphic design or the equivalent professional experience preferred
- US work authorization not requiring sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Design outdoor creative for one or more product lines: Outdoor, Digital displays, or Transit
- Responsible for the completion of jobs on the daily schedule
