About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its growing graphic design team in Coral Gables, Florida. This is not a remote position. The designer creates visual materials for proposals, reports, presentations, marketing campaigns, and events, working with engineers, project managers, and technical staff within corporate and client branding guidelines. The role is part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team and requires handling varied assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality and accuracy. Periodic work outside normal working hours and business travel may be required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of corporate and/or agency experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a similar field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite; Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor, positive and solution-seeking attitude, and high sense of personal responsibility.
• Flexibility to periodically work outside normal working hours and travel as required by business needs.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with InDesign for layout of complex documents.
• Video filming and editing and/or motion graphics experience.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, 3DS Max, or SketchUp.
• Web design experience; WordPress is preferred, with HTML/CSS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for proposals and reports.
• Create presentations and multimedia graphics.
• Develop before-and-after photo simulations and aerial map exhibits.
• Create brochures for print and digital use, as well as trade show graphics.
• Create e-blast campaigns and social media graphics.
• Perform large-format printing and production.
• Work as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team.
• Interact with engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
• Follow corporate and client branding guidelines.
