About The Position

Behindthechair.com is seeking a Graphic Designer to be the visual engine for their Social and Advertising teams. This role will create bespoke designs for top global haircare brands such as Redken, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, and Olaplex. The designer will be responsible for high-impact email campaigns, influencer box designs, digital ads, social content, print pieces, and logos. The goal is to bring brands to life across BTC’s global platform and help connect global brands with hairdressers worldwide. The designer will collaborate with the Social Media Associate, Paid Media Manager, account managers, and influencer team to deliver effective campaigns across various formats.

Requirements

B.A. in Graphic Design (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of experience in digital and print design.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Dreamweaver) on Mac.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for web and email design.
Strong conceptual thinker with excellent typography, branding, and layout expertise.
Experienced in designing for social, digital ads, and print.
Organized, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple projects across two teams.
Great communicator and team player, with a passion for design and beauty.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Figma, Sketch, or other UX/UI tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Canva, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or HubSpot is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Develop social assets for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
Design banner ads, digital campaigns, and paid social creative for client activations.
Design and build high-converting email campaigns for top haircare brands.
Create beauty box designs for influencer programs for manufacturer clients.
Design print pieces, product packaging, event branding, and logos for client campaigns.
