About The Position

Claxton Logistics is hiring two Graphic Designers to serve as visual storytellers for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the nation’s flagship military hospital. The role turns medical and command information into clear visuals, including publications, health campaigns, wayfinding and signage, infographics, and social graphics. Designers manage each project from intake through approval while following DHA brand standards and Walter Reed’s clearance process. The position is contingent on contract award and is full-time, 100% onsite at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800–1630, with occasional support outside normal duty hours during contingencies or exercises. A Public Trust (Tier 2) background check and CAC are required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, communications, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional design experience.
Portfolio demonstrating branding, print and digital layout, and infographics.
Mastery of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Healthcare or military public affairs experience.
HIPAA/PHI awareness.
Ability to manage many concurrent deadlines.
Public Trust (Tier 2) background check and CAC required.
Employment is contingent on contract award, a favorable background investigation, and verification of education and references.

Premiere Pro and After Effects.
DHA or MTF experience.
