About The Position

The Marketing & Brand Designer is responsible for developing high-quality creative materials that support marketing, sales, recruiting, operations, and executive leadership across all Allegro brands. This role serves as the organization’s primary creative resource and brand steward, ensuring every visual and written communication reflects established brand standards while providing responsive, service-oriented support to community and corporate teams. This position combines graphic design, brand management, creative project coordination, marketing communications, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, digitally fluent, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering polished work within established timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of professional graphic design, brand marketing, or creative production experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple brands, locations, or internal clients preferred.
  • Experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or another multi-location service organization preferred but not required.
  • A professional portfolio demonstrating strong design, layout, brand, digital, and print capabilities is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva, including template development and brand controls.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience designing for print, email, presentations, websites, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Experience preparing print-ready files and coordinating production with printers and vendors.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems, CRM knowledge centers, and email marketing platforms.
  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence platforms and AI-assisted creative tools for ideation, content development, image support, workflow efficiency, and quality control, with the ability to use these tools responsibly and within company standards.
  • Exceptional graphic design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual identity, and multi-brand systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing collateral for all Allegro brands, including brochures, flyers, postcards, rack cards, one-pagers, advertisements, signage, banners, posters, direct mail, invitations, and promotional materials.
  • Create branded materials supporting community events, resident and family programs, professional outreach, recruiting, operations, and corporate initiatives.
  • Develop presentation materials, including executive presentations, board decks, sales presentations, training decks, conference presentations, and other internal and external materials.
  • Design social media graphics, digital advertisements, email graphics, infographics, and other digital assets.
  • Create print-ready artwork and ensure files meet vendor and production requirements.
  • Maintain organized creative files and brand asset libraries.
  • Serve as a steward of the Allegro family of brands and ensure consistent application of brand standards across all creative materials and channels.
  • Review materials for brand consistency, visual quality, messaging, typography, imagery, and overall presentation.
  • Create and maintain editable Canva templates that allow approved users to customize materials while protecting brand integrity.
  • Develop reusable templates that improve speed, consistency, and efficiency across communities and departments.
  • Review website design changes, graphics, imagery, and page presentation to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Maintain a current library of approved logos, photography, icons, graphics, and design assets for all brands.
  • Create and design organization-wide and brand-level marketing emails, including referral programs, seasonal campaigns, resident and family communications, recruiting initiatives, and other approved campaigns.
  • Develop branded email templates and supporting graphics for use within approved email and CRM platforms.
  • Create internal newsletters, announcements, marketing updates, and launch communications as assigned.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales leaders to ensure messaging and visual execution are clear, accurate, and on brand.
  • Design sales collateral, leave-behind materials, referral partner pieces, community toolkits, event materials, and other resources that support occupancy growth.
  • Create materials for hiring events, Walk-In Wednesdays, open interviews, open houses, educational events, professional networking events, resident programs, and community outreach.
  • Develop standardized, quick-turn templates that allow common requests to be completed efficiently.
  • Maintain and update approved pricing materials, floor plans, brochures, sales collateral, and digital assets within the CRM Knowledge Center.
  • Provide responsive creative support to community teams, Human Resources, Sales, Lifestyle, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
  • Help translate approved event plans and concepts into compelling, brand-aligned creative materials.
  • Design branded social media graphics and creative assets for community and corporate use.
  • Review social media creative and visual presentation to ensure consistency with brand standards.
  • Train new Lifestyle Directors and other designated team members on photography, short-form video, framing, lighting, composition, and content-capture best practices.
  • Provide guidance on selecting high-quality photography and video content that accurately reflects community life and the Allegro brand.
  • Create practical guides, examples, and templates that help teams improve the quality of community-generated content.
  • Own and maintain the company’s collateral ordering platform, including product organization, updates, archived items, and coordination of new materials.
  • Coordinate printing projects with approved vendors, obtain and compare quotes, review proofs, and manage production timelines as needed.
  • Collaborate with outside designers, printers, sign vendors, promotional vendors, and other creative partners to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Confirm final materials meet brand, content, and production standards before release.
  • Manage incoming creative requests, clarify requirements, establish priorities, and communicate realistic timelines.
  • Balance urgent community needs with planned corporate and brand initiatives while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Identify recurring requests that should be converted into templates, toolkits, or repeatable workflows.
  • Partner with stakeholders to recommend practical creative solutions that support business goals and community success.
  • Participate in marketing meetings, planning sessions, creative reviews, and relevant training.
  • Stay current on design trends, accessibility, print production, digital marketing standards, artificial intelligence tools, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident, associate, community, and company information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
