About The Position

Delaware North is seeking a highly creative, trend-forward Graphic Designer to join its in-house Brand, Creative & Content Studio. The role develops visually distinctive brands and experiences across Delaware North’s hospitality portfolio, drawing on contemporary design, culture and emerging creative trends. The designer collaborates with art directors, designers, writers, strategists, photographers, videographers and business partners, and may lead impactful initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating brand identity, typography, campaign creative, digital design and/or experiential work; portfolio is required as part of the interview process.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of contemporary typography, layout, image-making and brand systems.
• Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently lead design assignments while thriving within a multidisciplinary creative team.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related creative discipline preferred.
• Agency, design studio or sophisticated in-house creative experience preferred.
• Experience with motion, video, animation or emerging AI-enabled creative tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Concept and design creative across brand identity, advertising campaigns, digital and social content, menus, presentations, environmental graphics and experiential applications.
• Develop visual identities and design systems for new brands, concepts and guest experiences.
• Bring knowledge of current design, typography, photography, fashion, culture and visual trends to the creative process.
• Translate creative briefs and business objectives into compelling visual concepts with a clear creative idea.
• Take projects from initial concept and design exploration through refinement, production and final execution.
• Present creative concepts and explain the thinking behind the work to creative leadership, internal partners and clients.
• Collaborate across disciplines, including copywriting, photography, video, motion graphics and digital/interactive design.
• Maintain exceptional attention to typography, composition, imagery, color and craft across executions.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high creative standard.
• Explore emerging creative tools, technologies, techniques and new ways of working to help advance the Studio.
