About The Position

Communication & Design (C&D) is a specialty practice within HUB International, comprised of writers, designers, consultants, project managers, and web/app developers. The team creates multi-channel campaigns for print, digital, and web, with a primary focus on Employee Benefit Communications designed to engage employees and simplify benefits information. The role involves updating and formatting high-quality Adobe InDesign files, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in layout, typography, and color. The team values humor, creativity, and individuality. This is a temporary position with a commitment from August 31 to December 11, 2026.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to compose clear and concise correspondence.
• Bachelor (of Art/Science) Degree in Graphic Design preferred.
• At least two years of graphics/production experience in a professional environment.
• Fast and accurate hands-on skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite).

Nice To Haves

• WordPress experience is a plus, but not required.
• Employee benefits knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Employee Benefits Communication and Design team on heavy production work.
• Be a general Adobe InDesign wizard.
• Work with templates to create new and edit existing materials.
• Produce and deliver work on time; meet deadlines as set by the project manager.
• Work within design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Manage client assets and develop, organize, and maintain client folders within a shared network.
• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Follow timelines.
