About The Position

Peraton is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support our government customer onsite in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality multimedia products, including graphics, digital media, and cartography. You will be responsible for designing and producing graphics, digital media, cartography and other multimedia assets for a variety of communication needs. You will utilize request management tools to efficiently manage and fulfill communication requests. Collaboration with UI/UX designers to create visually engaging and user-friendly graphic products is key. You will develop creative designs for websites, mobile apps, newsletters, advertisements, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos and more. Ensuring all graphic products comply with production standards, copyright laws, accessibility requirements, and public release guidelines is crucial. You will also conduct thorough technical quality checks to maintain high standards. Building and maintaining approved concepts in HTML/CSS, ensuring responsive design principles are met, and providing cartography support, including designing thematic and reference maps as needed, are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with relevant polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a BS/BA degree
• 3+ years with a MS/MA degree
• Experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, and multimedia products
• Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS experience
• Photography and video editing experience
• Ability to create engaging and user-friendly graphic products for various written and digital formats
• Ability to produce graphic designs for websites, mobile aps, newsletters, ads, infographics and other digital content
• Assurance of compliance with production standards copy right laws, and accessibility requirements
• Conduct technical quality assurance and maintaining design integrity
