Graphic Designer
About The Position
Peraton is seeking an onsite Graphic Designer in McLean, Virginia. The role develops graphics, digital media, and multimedia products, and uses request management tools to provide responsive, high-quality support for communication requests. The designer creates concepts and designs for written and digital products, including web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, advertisements, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other online content. The position also manages approved concepts and builds them in HTML/CSS in accordance with responsive design principles. Products must meet production standards, copyright laws, accessibility requirements, and public release clearances, and undergo technical quality checks. The position requires either a bachelor's degree with five years of experience or no degree with nine years of experience, as well as a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. The salary range is $104,000–$166,000. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Requirements
- Five years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or nine years of experience with no degree required.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
- Experience with front-end web design, UI/UX, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with photography and video editing.
- Experience mentoring and training junior staff.
- Experience creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
- Experience creating graphic designs for written and digital products.
- Experience developing design concepts and implementing designs for web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other online digital content.
- Experience ensuring products conform to production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.
- Experience conducting technical quality checks.
