ELS is hiring for the position of Graphic Designer in Chicago, Illinois. What you’ll do: The Graphic Designer manages all design projects from concept through delivery, ensuring that the company’s brand is translated into effective visual communication designs for digital campaigns. This position leads the creative development process and drives projects to completion.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of email marketing design, as well as general knowledge of graphic design, styles and techniques.
Ability to translate sophisticated graphic concepts to a wide range of audiences.
Creative eye for design, composition, typography and photo selection, with the ability to edit and touch up images.
Strong verbal, written, proofreading and communications skills.
Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Premier and Acrobat.
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio or Content Builder) or IB Marketing Cloud (Engage Email Build).
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to shifting company and team objectives.
Meticulous attention to detail in the creation and iteration of work.
Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

Manage all graphic design tasks and refine projects as required.
Create original creative content.
Oversee the production of work of the highest standards and offer variations and creative options, incorporating fresh design ideas, trends in mobile responsiveness, social media and blog design, advertising and print design and evolving technology.
Ensure brand consistency across various projects and media platforms ; update brand guidelines as they evolve .
Conceptualize, design, develop, implement and perform A/B tests on email marketing promotions, digital newsletters and blogs, social and digital display ads, remarketing and retargeting display ads, logo designs and community and campground branding, as well as various other informational and promotional collateral, with quality assurance of outbound campaigns and assets.
Create attractive and effective designs for all media platforms.
Execute email campaigns, including for both new and branded templates.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to ESP emails, HTML templates and other aspects of email execution as required.
Lead creative meetings and execute successful campaigns and projects.
Continually identify and suggest improvements to design standards.
Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and competitive trends.
