About The Position

Parts Town is seeking a highly creative, passionate, and motivated Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team. This role involves conceptualizing and executing campaigns that align with the brand identity, drive desired customer behaviors, and propel the creative vision forward. The Graphic Designer will be an active participant in the design process from concept to creation, working under the guidance of the creative director to create compelling, customer-focused campaign elements in both print and digital formats. The ideal candidate will be open to constructive criticism, willing to learn, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. They should bring a fresh perspective to creative ideation, participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute to discussions aimed at elevating creative work and driving overall KPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of graphic design experience.
  • Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple tasks under deadline.
  • Comfortable following direction, receiving feedback, and asking questions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to seamlessly transition from layout design to high-impact motion graphics and animation.
  • Leverage a "tech-first" mindset, using AI to spark inspiration and expedite the creation of multi-channel design assets.
  • Proud of your portfolio and able to walk through design and thought process.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design, typography, technology, and digital standards.
  • Ability to make informed recommendations to improve work.
  • Willingness to learn HTML and CSS.
  • Understanding of how to design to brand standards, audiences’ needs and goals.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, self-starter, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Photography and video skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of comics, superheroes, pop culture, and music from the 80s and 90s.
  • Ability to tell jokes.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing and executing campaigns that align with brand identity, drive desired customer behaviors, and propel creative vision forward.
  • Creating campaign elements that are compelling, customer-focused, and in alignment with business strategy, marketing objectives, and approved visual standards in both print and digital.
  • Creating, redesigning, maintaining, or revising print and digital assets across a variety of platforms, including ads, flyers, signs, websites, landing pages, banner ads, social media content, emails, presentation decks, infographics, and iconography using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite, personal favorites, or sketches on napkins.
  • Developing and maintaining brand standards for all cross-channel platforms and communications.
  • Taking on additional creative assignments or tasks for internal or external marketing efforts or projects as needed.
  • Contributing to meetings with internal and external peers and managers to exchange information and ideas related to projects.
  • Inviting constructive criticism and showcasing a willingness to learn.
  • Challenging the status quo and offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Bringing a fresh perspective to creative ideation.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and feedback discussions to elevate creative work and drive overall KPIs.
