About The Position

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to support the creative needs of our local DC office. This role will focus on developing print and digital materials that market commercial properties, support broker pursuits, and build brand recognition in the local market. The ideal candidate is a hands-on designer who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in delivering polished, on-brand creative work. This role will report to the Local Strategic Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional design experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency, in-house, or commercial real estate environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a variety of print and digital design work.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to work efficiently, take direction, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate proactively with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing print-ready files and working with print vendors.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A customer-service mindset and eagerness to support internal stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in commercial real estate, architecture, or urban development is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performance marketing team.
  • Willingness to test and adopt emerging AI and creative technologies that improve speed, consistency, and overall marketing effectiveness
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design a wide range of marketing materials including property flyers, brochures, offering memorandums, tour books, pitch decks, signage, social graphics, and email templates.
  • Collaborate closely with brokers and local marketing team members to understand project goals and translate them into effective visual solutions.
  • Ensure that all creative output aligns with Stream’s brand guidelines while allowing for local customization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Prepare and package files for print and digital production.
  • Retouch and enhance photos for use in marketing collateral.
  • Maintain and organize project files, design assets, and templates in accordance with local and national best practices.
  • Stay current on design trends and production techniques to continuously improve work quality.
