About The Position

The Package Designer develops engaging, brand-appropriate packaging for toys, activity craft kits, and novelty compounds. This fully on-site position is based in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and is full time, with a first shift schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The listed salary range is $62,000 to $70,000.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in packaging design.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, packaging design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Illustration skills or experience creating kid-friendly graphics or characters.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, printing, and production processes.
• Attention to detail, especially for safety labels and instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of brand-driven packaging design.

• Experience in toy or craft and activity packaging design.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging packaging that resonates with the target audience and reflects the company’s brand identity.
• Photograph and enhance product visuals.
• Create packaging comps and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with the art director, fellow designers, sales, and marketing.
• Ensure compliance with child safety labeling, warnings, and regulatory requirements.
