About The Position

Carlson Labs is seeking a Graphic Designer to support a variety of digital and print design projects while ensuring that work aligns with the company’s brand standards. The role is an onsite position in Lincolnshire, Illinois, with a Monday–Friday, full-time schedule. The stated pay range is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Carlson Labs is a family-owned, WBENC-certified vitamin and supplement company founded in 1965. Its products include vitamins, minerals, omega-3s, children’s products, and other nutritional supplements.

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong skills in typography, visual hierarchy, and layout.
Excellent problem-solving and conceptual skills, with the ability to approach design challenges creatively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented work ethic.
Ability to correctly set up files for print based on vendor specifications.
A strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities.
A bachelor's degree (BA or BFA) in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work.

Nice To Haves

Experience with motion graphics and video editing; proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is highly regarded.
Three or more years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design digital content such as emails, motion graphics, display advertisements, and website content.
Develop infographics that communicate complex information in a visually engaging manner.
Create print materials, including packaging, brochures, and promotional items.
