About The Position

ASRC Federal Technology Solutions LLC is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with an active Secret security clearance to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Graphic Designer will work with a team of media developers to create, build, support, and maintain visual assets for our government customer.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance.
3+ years of professional design experience, preferably in government, corporate, or multimedia production environments.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of print and digital design work.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Proficiency in designing both print and digital mediums (posters, presentations, infographics, web graphics, social media assets).
Ability to work within established brand guidelines and adhere to government/organizational design standards.
Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility in design.
Strong visual storytelling, layout, and composition abilities.
Creative problem-solving while working within project constraints.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with video editing or motion graphics (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or similar).
Photography skills, including image capture and post-processing.
Experience working in a government or military contracting environment.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for web and application interfaces.

Responsibilities

Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals.
Interpret project briefs and provide design recommendations.
Create, build, support, and maintain visual assets for a government customer.
Work with writers, web developers, and other multimedia team members.
Present and defend design choices.
Manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
Organize files and manage versions for collaborative workflows.
Ensure quality assurance in final deliverables through attention to detail.
Design both print and digital mediums including posters, presentations, infographics, web graphics, and social media assets.
Work within established brand guidelines and adhere to government/organizational design standards.
Ensure designs comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
