About The Position

The DiSTI Corporation, a leading provider of graphical user interface software and customized 3D training solutions, is seeking a Graphic Designer. Located near the University of Central Florida, DiSTI has been recognized as one of the Orlando Sentinel's Top 100 Workplaces for five consecutive years. Since 1994, DiSTI has pioneered advancements in user experience for Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. military, and international clients across automotive, aerospace, medical, and training markets. This role involves developing marketing and branding materials, including 2D texture art, video editing, and website content, as well as planning, designing, developing, testing, and documenting art for new products, customer demonstrations, program development, and internal use.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Art, Visual Language, Digital Media, Graphic Design, related degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience developing artwork using Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, and InDesign.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
  • Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
  • Only US citizens are eligible for this role due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develops marketing and branding materials which includes 2D texture art, video editing, and website.
  • Plans, designs, develops, tests, and documents art for new products, customer demonstrations, program development and internal use.
  • Develops art using current industry techniques, standards and processes.
  • Generates and manipulates graphic images into simulation ready formats.
  • Develops marketing and branding materials following established protocols.
  • Creates art in accordance with customer requirements and engineering design constraints.
  • Actively participates as part of a development team.
  • Applies new techniques across development teams to increase productivity.
