About The Position

Harmann Studios Inc. is seeking a versatile and creative individual for the Graphic Designer role. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of artistic skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for visual storytelling. This role involves creating high-quality graphic designs and contributing to various marketing and client projects. Additional duties as assigned will support the overall success of the studio.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, photography, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in graphic design and photography.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) and other relevant design software.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and photography projects.
Excellent eye for detail in editing images, with an emphasis on enhancing facial elements.
Ability to learn and manipulate multiple formats of print presses to adjust them to desired output color.
Knowledge of how custom printer profiles are made and implemented in a print shop environment.
Solid knowledge of computers and working with monitors to display color accurately.
Positive attitude, eager to provide assistance wherever needed for our customers and team members.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Google Suites preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed color correction and retouching on photographs to ensure consistency and quality.
Assist in the design and layout of memory books, print materials, and customized products.
Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom) and other design tools to produce high-quality graphics and images.
Maintain organized records of all image files, ensuring proper storage and backup.
Develop and design marketing materials including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics.
Proficiently extract images for PNG output and background insertion.
Create digital backgrounds for individual groups.
Composite digital images for multiple uses.
Edit and retouch photographs to enhance image quality and meet client specifications.
Work as a member of the production team to meet deadlines and fulfill client requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
Profile paper and color manage printers to provide accurate and appealing color in portraits.
Research to maintain knowledge of sports trends for graphics and social media content.
