About The Position

U Brands is a California-based company focused on integrating design, innovation, and productivity into tools that inspire people wherever they work. We create versatile and elegant products designed to keep users inspired in any work environment. The Graphic Designer role is responsible for developing compelling, on-brand marketing and e-commerce designs that support the entire U Brands product portfolio across both digital and retail channels. This position will create high-converting visual content for our e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and our direct-to-consumer Shopify site. Additionally, the role will support packaging design and production, as well as integrated marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in graphic design or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design, ideally in e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or a marketing/brand environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating marketing communications design, e-commerce/retail assets, and packaging or production work.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon, Walmart, and Target marketplace creative requirements, and experience designing for Shopify.
  • Understanding of print production and packaging fundamentals (dielines, color, prepress).
  • Strong typography, layout, and brand consistency skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency with AI design tools such as Google Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and Adobe Firefly a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics or short-form video, retail media creative, or Shopify theme familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize product detail page assets, A+/Enhanced Brand Content, storefronts, and infographics for Amazon, Walmart, and Target marketplaces.
  • Create and maintain on-brand creative for the B2C Shopify site, including landing pages, banners, collection pages, and promotional graphics.
  • Ensure all listing and storefront assets adhere to each platform’s technical specifications, brand guidelines, and conversion best practices.
  • Produce email, social media, and digital advertising creative to drive e-commerce traffic and sales.
  • Support packaging design from concept to production-ready files, including dielines, print specifications, and prepress handoff.
  • Collaborate with vendors and the production team to ensure color accuracy, print quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain packaging consistency and brand integrity across the product portfolio.
  • Contribute to the design and rollout of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and social channels.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and E-Commerce teams to support brand storytelling and sales.
  • Help evolve and uphold brand visual standards across all marketing communications.
