About The Position

FASTSIGNS #111501 is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer to create and prepare graphics for print and sign production. The role involves working with customer-provided designs and files, developing layouts to fit available space and production requirements, and determining suitable output methods and materials. The designer inspects work for accuracy, maintains a customer logo library, and converts graphic files. Requirements

1–2 years of graphic design experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
Ability to prioritize jobs, multitask, and work autonomously.
Ability to work under pressure while producing high-volume, high-quality work.
Ability to sit and view a computer screen for long periods, including four hours or more.

Responsibilities

Create computer-generated, full-color graphics and vinyl output for printing, mounting, cutting, weeding, and application.
Complete or modify designs using customer drawings, files, or customer-provided designs.
Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; select type styles and sizes; and arrange layouts based on available space, aesthetics, and production requirements.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output.
Ensure the correct material is used for each job and that output-device settings are accurate.
Maintain the customer logo library and convert graphic files.
Determine the best output method based on customer needs.
