About The Position

In this contract role, you will design marketing materials adhering to brand guidelines, covering print, social media, and digital platforms. This role requires a versatile designer with strong graphic design, typography, project management, and collaboration skills, capable of working under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience in graphic design within a fast-paced marketing environment.
Advanced graphic design and typography skills.
Excellent grasp of effective and unique advertising principles.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac.
Quick to react and adapt to business needs with creativity.
Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective in a team environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent typography skills.
Mastery of pre-press file preparation.
Exceptional skills for sourcing information, obtaining approvals, building relationships, and influencing success.
Excellent problem-solving skills.

Figma experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with lead creatives, writers, and production artists to develop customer-centric advertising concepts.
Create graphics and advertising materials for Loblaw Marketing initiatives, managing projects from concept to final files.
Develop industry-leading creative ideas.
Ensure materials are effectively translated into French and bilingual versions.
Source appropriate stock and existing photography.
Stay updated on design trends and competitor marketing strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software and creative techniques.
Present creative concepts to marketing partners and clients.
