About The Position

Gate City Bank is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to bring ideas to life and help tell our story through compelling visuals. This role will complete creative work for a variety of external and internal touchpoints including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.

Requirements

• Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design or related field; 5 years professional experience in graphic arts/design; or a combination of education with a strong portfolio showing competency in design, illustration, logo creation and/or ad layout.
• Print, digital, photography and video design experience required.
• Thorough and detailed with strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
• Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and effective graphic design solutions for delivery across multiple channels including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.
• Ensure all marketing documents are properly proofed, edited and meets compliance regulations.
• Present design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval.
• Ensure all work consistently meets brand standards and guidelines.
• Provide information on trends, innovations and competitors in graphic design.
• Provide a great customer service experience for team members and customers.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers and vendors.
