About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global missions.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant engineering or technical experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years relevant experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of relevant work experience in the IT field).
  • Experience with leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Experience with Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with Photography and video editing.
  • Experience creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Experience creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
  • Experience developing design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.
  • Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
  • Experience conducting technical quality checks.
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
  • Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
  • Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
  • Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
  • Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
  • Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
  • Conducts technical quality checks
  • Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
  • Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
