About The Position

Red Sun Farms is seeking a Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist for their Kingsville Corporate Office. This role, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Packaging, will focus on creating high-quality visual and social content across multiple brand identities. The specialist will utilize extensive knowledge of design concepts, software, and social media strategies to develop comprehensive layouts and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • Diploma in graphic design or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a graphic designer
  • Mastery of graphic design software, including Adobe Creative suite
  • Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Experience managing and maintaining social media platforms and analyzing social analytics
  • Well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills

Responsibilities

  • Design creative assets for print and digital marketing, including advertisements, brochures, trade show materials, signage, displays, publications, packaging, and promotional material for various channels.
  • Create and produce electric page layouts, production ready graphics, JPEGs, PDFs, video, clip art, graphs, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements as required.
  • Produce creative concepts for product packaging and labeling on packaging dielines while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, the packaging team, and external packaging suppliers to create innovative packaging design that support business objectives and enhance customer specifications, food industry regulations, and print requirements.
  • Provide technical graphic design support and creative guidance to internal stakeholders, production teams, publishers and vendors.
  • Develop and execute engaging, brand-aligned content strategies across social media platforms to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor, manage and grow the organizations social media presence by identifying emerging trends, audience preferences, platform best practices and competitive insights.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics, KPI’s, preparing reports, and recommending content optimization to maximize engagement.
  • Capture and produce high-quality food photography, lifestyle imagery, and promotional video content for digital and print campaigns and social media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
  • Identify, source, and select vendors/service providers for printing and publication services, as necessary (e.g., illustrators, printers, typesetters, photographers, etc.). Select the appropriate media and materials (e.g., paper, ink, etc.).
  • Participate in marketing strategic planning and accountability to achieve the agreed to goals of the plan.
