About The Position

Designs and develops graphics and illustrations for use by senior and executive staff in mission-critical, high-visibility client-facing environments. Coordinates directly with clients from concept to draft, to final. Uses visual communication skills and design best practices to meet and exceed customer requirements. Executes creative projects as part of our Digital Solutions team to support multiple agencies within the U.S. intelligence community. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working graphic design projects or creative direction
  • Experience formatting content into visually appealing layouts, data visualizations, and infographics
  • Experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and user-centered design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphics design competencies
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization, technical illustration, and infographic project production
  • Experience following established brand management guidelines
  • Experience in the IC or DoD environments
  • Ability to demonstrate visual design expertise, including gathering raw data from various sources and developing comprehensive and visually engaging designs that quickly relay operational details
  • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Possession of excellent communication skills including in writing, verbally and in presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels
