About The Position

Weston Christian Academy is seeking a Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to support the mission and vision of the school through creative design, strategic marketing, and digital communications. This role is responsible for communicating the school's life, mission, and culture through compelling visual content, marketing initiatives, and social media engagement that reflects excellence, professionalism, and biblical values. The position integrates creativity, communication, and strategic marketing to support school initiatives, events, enrollment efforts, sponsorships, and community outreach.

Requirements

  • Be a committed Christian who is a member in good standing in a Christian church.
  • Have a strong commitment to the Philosophy and Statement of Faith of First Baptist Church at Weston and to the Mission Statement of Weston Christian Academy.
  • Have a teachable and humble spirit.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; BFA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva.
  • Experience with social media management tools and digital content creation.
  • Photography and basic videography/editing skills preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in marketing, branding, communications, or digital media preferred.
  • Experience working in a school, church, nonprofit, or ministry environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, advertisements, event graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all school communications, marketing materials, and visual platforms.
  • Assist with managing the school’s social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Create engaging visual and digital content that highlights student life, academics, athletics, events, and spiritual growth.
  • Capture and edit photography and basic video content for school communications, marketing, and social media use.
  • Collaborate with administration, admissions, advancement, athletics, and school departments to promote school initiatives and events.
  • Support enrollment and advancement efforts through creative campaigns, storytelling, and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the ordering and production of marketing materials, signage, promotional items, sponsorship materials, and branded products for school events and initiatives.
  • Communicate and collaborate with vendors to secure quality products and materials that support school marketing and advancement efforts.
  • Assist with campus graphics, visual displays, and event related promotional materials.
  • Monitor social media engagement and marketing effectiveness to support growth and community engagement.
  • Maintain organized archives of digital assets, branding materials, photography, and media files.
  • Attend key school events, including some evenings and weekends, to support event coverage and promotional needs.
  • Support photography coverage for school events as needed.
  • Ensure all communications and visual materials reflect the mission, values, and professionalism of Weston Christian Academy.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and excellence.
