As part of the DPS Communications Team, the graphic designer position will be responsible for developing materials to benefit department-wide marketing, instructional and public awareness efforts through creative design work. The graphic designer is expected to have an excellent sense of design and know the role it plays in brand positioning and strategy. The graphic designer will create deliverables for both digital and print production and is responsible for the overall quality of creative work and drives the creative vision for the entirety of the department. This position is responsible for consulting with clients to determine project parameters such as purpose, audience, conceptual focus, and scope and concept cost options. Position works independently; work is reviewed for quality and design concept.
