About The Position

The Graphic Designer 3 works on the Footwear & Apparel Graphic Design team, focusing primarily on technical and schematic design for apparel, footwear, and accessories, with some creative design work. This is not a brand art direction role. With general direction from Design management, the designer uses advanced design skills to create original graphics aligned with the Company’s design ethos and assists with ideation, concept development, and branding. The role leads team projects and independently completes individual projects involving areas such as print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials, using computerized systems throughout the design process. The position builds and hands off seasonal graphic schematics across disciplines, supports rapid exploration of graphic directions across collections, uploads files for cross-functional partners and shareholders, and helps keep schematics and PRs current and ready for handoff. It also supports file organization in Box and other systems. The designer works with internal functional teams and external vendors on projects from concept through production and distribution, including timelines, budgets, specifications, suppliers, and production quality. The role is based in Los Angeles, onsite Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday, and is a two-month contract.
