Requirements

• One year as a Graphic Designer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Three years of technical experience in creating graphic art for communication materials, displays, or exhibits and an associate degree in graphic design, graphic art, fine arts, visual communication, communication design, digital communication, or a closely related field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with Adobe InDesign
• Able to perform essential job functions

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CorelDraw
• Experience working with any of the following: Vinyl Plotter CNC Router Flatbed Printer Laser Printer Framing Vinyl Applications

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed artwork and signage using both digital tools and traditional methods
• Work with project partners to understand goals and create clear visual concepts
• Operate specialized sign shop tools including printers, routers, and engraving equipment
• Contribute ideas during project discussions and support the creation of new design approaches
• Maintain organized artwork files and prepare accurate production-ready materials
• Perform hands-on tasks with various substrates to build completed display graphics
